Fragments of Light

Fragmented light of your own is a dual-channel live-feed installation that uses kaleidoscopic mechanisms to articulate the relationship between the darkness of night and the luminous-reflective qualities of matter. It draws attention to the dualities of the Universe as space/time and as subjective perceptual matter. Two kaleidoscopic mechanisms are equipped with a wireless IT camera and proximity sensors, causing the devices to slowly spin and generate projected images when approached by the viewer.
