Windows in the Sky

Video-sculpture installation, 4 min loop DVD of sky activities in late summer afternoon, being projected throughout cast glass lenses (36”in diameter each), filled with water, suspended from ceiling in long monofilament fixtures. Reflective water surface is used in this project to place reflection of moving fragments of clouds on the wall to express passage of time, using the metaphor of the window as a play.

Glass lenses were casted during my residency in Pilchuck Glass School in Seatle, WA, USA. Also, the concept from the work comes from within the natural phenomenon of the place.
